Frequently Asked Questions

Can we apply for more than one grant?

Yes, organisations can apply for multiple grants, but we ask that you wait at least 12 months between applications to ensure fair distribution of funds.

How long does the application process take?

Applications are reviewed annually with submissions usually in March. Successful applicants are notified by email and funds are typically transferred within 2 weeks of approval.

What if our project costs more than the grant amount?

That's fine! Many projects use FESPA grants alongside other funding sources. Please explain in your application how the grant fits into your overall budget and what other funding you've secured or applied for.

Do we need to be a registered charity?

No, but you must be a constituted group with a bank account and clear governance structure. We support community groups, CICs, charities, and other not-for-profit organizations.
